A new anthology of writing, featuring shortlisted entries from the 2019 TU Dublin Short Story competition, run in conjunction with the Red Line Book Festival, has been published. The competition was open to anyone over 16, and attracted 226 entries from 28 countries.
The 10 stories in this anthology range across the spectrum and include distinctive male and female voices, from contemporary, from Irish settings to international ones. Many are written in the first person, and most deal with personal interactions, and how the individual can be exposed to all kinds of scenarios.
