Box Hill: Adam Mars-Jones in conversation Seán Hewitt

‘An exquisitely discomfiting tale of a submissive same-sex relationship ... perfectly realised.’

Anthony Cummins, Observer

A bold and original voice in British fiction and winner of the 2019 Fitzcarraldo Editions Novel Prize, Adam Mars-Jones discusses his latest work, Box Hill published in March 2020.

Mars-Jones’ novels include Pilcrow (2008) and Cedilla (2011), as well as the memoir Kid Gloves (2015). He also reviews fiction for the London Review of Books and films for the Times Literary Supplement.
