John McAuliffe has published five books with The Gallery Press, most recently Selected Poems in Oct 2021 and The Kabul Olympics (2020), which was a Guardian Poetry Book of the Month in June 2020 and a TLS and Irish Times 2020 Book of the Year. He grew up in Listowel, Co. Kerry, and is Professor of Poetry at the University of Manchester's Centre for New Writing.
